About PDF's... as you probably know it is always best to right click
on a PDF link and elect to save the link into a folder of your choice. You
can then come back after the download is complete and load the document
quickly. Otherwise your browser, which is inefficient in downloading
large pdf files, will seem to be doing nothing and you will be left
staring at a blank screen while the download continues to completion...
In July 2009 I did 2 presentations about Google
Adwords. One was to the Intranet and Internet conference organised by
Joshua West and the second was at the annual University of Johannesburg
Information and Knowledge conference. The one presentation was about The
Power of Google
Adwords and the other was entitled "The
Democratisation of Information".
DIY SEO & Internet Marketing by Tony Roocroft... The book was written
in 2003/4 and updated in 2005. Since then it has not been touched and
while the art and science of SEO has moved on the principles discussed
in this valuable book are as important as ever. The book is some 235
pages in length and contains many screen shots highlighting the

In December2005 Seoza carried out preliminary research using Google
Adwords to discover the relative importance of popular South Africa
branded retailer names such as Pick 'n Pay and Woolworths in order to
discover how any people were (a) looking for a specific brand versus (b)
the number of people looking for generic products eg wedding gifts.

some 100 years ago is still seen as the bible for direct marketers. The
book is now in the public domain and can be downloaded free. Each and
every online marketer should read this book at least once.
