Request For Quote and Basic Specification

Introduction:

We own 150+ websites all created in-house using Front Page. These sites are all search engine optimised which is our particular skill. Although we have designed and created these sites and though they function well we recognize we do not have the design skills to get even better performance from the existing sites and a number of new sites planned in the very near future.

The new sites are in general related to the gardening theme and most will initially be focused on the South African market using .co.za domains. Some will have lots of pages other between 10 and 20.

Basic Requirements

1. To create a range of CSS/XHTML templates able to be used in Microsoft Expression Web for content addition. In Expression Web terms such templates are referred to as DWT or Dynamic Web Templates.
2. The templates will be as follows: W3C standards compliant, fluid, 2 and/or 3 column with header and footer in each case. Right and left borders to stretch to line up with footer.
3. External style sheet(s) for styling headers, footers, borders, images etc as well as general page content (ie table styles, paragraph styles, images, bullets and so on)
4. DHTML menus where appropriate
5. Designs created on our behalf will remain the sole property of ourselves and will not be made available to any other parties.
  

We are not looking for long detailed quotations … essentially we want to know if you believe you have the skills and capacity to work with us. We would like to be able to start with the projects as soon as possible.
